All the white males who were racially discriminated against at least have the knowledge that although many a dream of becoming a fast jet pilot career was ruined within the RAF, that this was tempered by the fact that there is nothing worth left to defend in the UK anyway as there was always a job as a Deliveroo cyclist.

Reminds me of Dave, who wanted to become a fast jet Pilot like his Group Captain Father was, after spending 3 years getting an Aeronautics Degree from Loughborough University (his degree project was based on unstable Digital control Z Transform Flight Dynamics of the EAP in the Basement) who was told that despite his interest in Running Marathons and rowing, that he was just too White and Ginger to join the RAF. Ended up working for McDonalds apparently before getting a better job at Greggs.

  4. Its interesting who work in call centres. I Once spoke to a chap who was an F.3 Tornado Armourer who once worked at the now defunct RAF Leuchars. After being made redundant he was now working in a Call Centre in Dundee. I told him that my Post Graduate degree was in developing Fast Fourier Transform algorithms for fast signal processing using Transputers that were used in the ASRAAM missile Seeker and then later into Dynamic Thermal imaging. I think my next call was from an Agony aunt who worked on the 'This Morning' telebox show telling me that I would be responsible for the deaths of her clients if I didn't get her Telephone working right now.
