  1. UK Price and incomes policy controls were attempted in the Counter-Inflation (Temporary Provisions) Act 1972 and prior to this was the National Board for Prices and Incomes introduced July 1966. The Exchange Control Act 1966 to 1971 of some form will probably be re introduced by the next installed TriLateral Commission Labour Government to again restrict purchase and ownership of more than 4 Oz of Gold.
