  1. The reason the banks are 'short changing' savers is quite simple. The UK commercial banks are actually insolvent and operating cash is being generated only by the interest delta of borrowing and savings rates.

As the fiscal situation for millions of folks in the UK gets tighter and tighter with increasing BoE Interest rates for borrowers combined with the entrenched Inflation rate (devaluation of purchase power) which is in reality at least double the official rate then a banking collapse is just a matter of time as the deposit savings in those banks begin to shrink to nothing and the Interest Rate Delta to provide operating profits diminishes as well. Its just a matter of time. There has already been a substantial collapse in Deposit Savings accounts amounts in the Commercial banks already.

  4. Today I purchased some real money, a 2009 1 Troy Oz Gold Philharmoniker, which was only 3% above spot price. I try my best to help defeat UK Sterling Fiat Currency inflation by the excessive currency printing and borrowing from the future, as being poor I do not benefit from the Cantillon effect. I find that Gold Stacking is an effective way of saving real money rather than attempting to save the ever devaluing imaginary Fiat currency.
