Russia have obviously been preparing for decades since Medvedev retargeted its ICBMs back on the west on my way back from Cyprus after being invited to see the Russia cruise missiles at Paphos airfield during the Serbian conflict a few days after the USAF F117s were shot down. The reality is that the Russians have intermediate hypersonic MIRV conventional warhead missiles that would able to take down the UK energy infrastructure with a couple of missiles within 20 minutes They have been preparing for this escalatory ladder with NATO and its proxies and no doubt have a few more surprises up their sleeves.
