  1. The difference between the earth’s actual shape and a perfect sphere is so small that it would be extremely difficult to represent it on the scale of these globes. The earth’s equatorial diameter is 0.33% longer than its polar diameter. So on their meter wide globes, it would only be 3.3 mm wider than it is tall.
