  1. Overwhelming majority of the games I purchase have been out for a year or two (or even more). I get them at much lower prices which is a nice bonus but the best thing is that I get complete games and see which ones have stood the test of time. I have also stopped following most of the gaming media to not get caught up in hype and to avoid possible spoilers =)
