  1. What is really interesting is if you compare something like Burger King that operates in both countries. In Denmark the employees get 5 weeks of paid vacation / year, paid sick leave, roughly $20 / hour wage etc. The burgers / meals are pretty much the same (only 5-10% more expensive than in the US) and they still manage to make tidy profit. The workers are getting screwed in the US :-|
