  1. I heard Meerkats are indeed a type of Mongoose. For these Banded Mongoose, it’s a substitute occasional reference to Timon & Pumba from Disney’s The Lion King. Both the 1994 slash 2002 Special Edition Animated & 2019 Live Action Films.
