  1. I’ve heard that Males have been known to reach a length of 60 FT or more. I’ve heard that there was 1 that was an 85 Footer that was known in the year 1820 that took out the Essex Whaling Ship which was the true story behind the inspiration of Moby Dick. This Sperm Whale must be nearly Full Grown. Hopefully the biologist gets this Ocean Giant back to the deeper water before it ends up in the same beached fate like most of the others in the past.

  2.  @virginiamoss7045  Oh well, they’ve tried. But they’ll have to bring its carcass back to the very deep end of the ocean for the Sharks to eat. I just don’t want to see history repeating itself on shore. The explosion of the dead whale on a different beach caused damages after it was blown up. I think it’s better for this poor Ocean Giant today be taken care of by scavengers in the sea.

  3. The Poor Ocean Giant. I will they could’ve dragged it back out to the deep end of sea & let Sperm Whale float. But they’re still going to have to bring this bring its carcass out to sea for the scavenging sharks to feed on before it stinks up the beach of Tampa. But I don’t want to hear about explosives being used again. Years ago on a video there was a different dead Sperm Whale that died on a different beach & they blew it up & tons of it’s meat caused much damages. They should’ve let that other carcass be taken to sea for the scavengers to eat rather than blowing it up back then.
