  1. You do not realise it yet, but in 10 years you will be driving an EV. You will not have a choice. I gather you are familiar with SUPPLY and DEMAND? Unfortunately for the US ICE industry, the rest of the World is transitioning away from gas and diesel. What it means is, crude production and demand will drop 95% for gas and diesel. When demand and supply drops 95% , prices will rise exponentially - prbably $1000\gallon. No refining, no gas stations. The fractions of oil and gas from crude will be fractionated to LNG. Gasoline powered vehicles are going the way of steam locomotion. You do NOT have a choice.

  2. Another example of how the US is 50 years behind the rest of the World. The last time I saw a pilot light was 50 years ago. I find it absolutely incredible that a pilot light still exists in the US. The US would have ZERO problems with power generation and distribution if they were not so S I PM P L E. Energy wastage in the US is globally ranked in the top 5. You guys would NOT have a problem if you were efficient in generation and use. You guys got it coming to you. You will have to cut back on domestic and industrial consumption drastically if you want to prevent power outages. The move away from fossil fuels for locomotion and power generation is a given. It is coming to you whether you like it or not. You better get used to the EV revolution, in 2 short years you will see gas stations close as demand drops off a cliff. Currently, our country get 80% of its energy from renewables, the other 20% are LNG power generation. The last time we saw a power outage was in 1974.
