  3.  @Ridendrty  Your model is how the Russians, Iran, and the Gulf sheiks control their oil. The US does NOT work that way, not the communist way. I know what you are trying to say, but it woulsd NOT be a free market if the Govt was controlling it. Besides, how would the political parties and politicians get their back handers from oil companies....lol. The exploration licenses that go to the highest bidder is a joke. Its how the system works.
