There have been tiny homes for a few centuries they are called trailers and additional advantages are mobility so they who live in trailers can and generally do follow work around so that they have a certain amount of autonomy and relief from the weather and if they don’t have expensive habits they can nye on always make enough money to eat keep warm and wear nice clothes and stuff like that but people who are culturally in line with the way of life are treated like criminals for travelling around following work
