He's only concerned about that because in a few years when his money runs out is when he was probably planning on killing his gf and getting the life insurance money to continue taking advantage of the system as he'd admitted from the very beginning. He was always going to kill the mom for the money but her refusal to give him the promise ring pushed him over the edge. It didn't fit into his little plans so he had a tantrum.

  22.  @vintagepipesnightmares  most kids go to something they call a school, they also watch lots of television and listen to lots of music, and have lots of native english speaking people around them, friends, etc. All that can't compare to the time the kid spends with his mom. His mom probably started learning english at the same time the kid did when they arrivrd to the States but couldn't lose the accent which is normal for an adullt. But children can definitely learn multiple languages at an early age and speak them as if it's their native language.
