  5.  @middle_pickup  Yeah a higher current audio opamp, 70mA sunk or sourced officially, doesn't start misbehaving until you try to run about 110-120mA through it.

  6.  @middle_pickup  yeah I know, I know. But just about every piece of hifi gear if it's a receiver or amp has a 4556 doing the headphone output. Incidentally usually a 4558 or 4580 as well, doing the line driver or input duty, alternatively the 5532 though. But invariably made by JRC, though most or all of these aren't their original designs.
