  1. Seyfo03 Pakistan is a country which has the Taliban within it's borders - or did you forget that well known fact?  Imagine if the Taliban got their hands upon the diamond in question; they could buy an awful lot of AK-47s with that diamond.

  3. purpleprinc3 Think about it: putting valuables in countries that recently have been or could potentially turn into war zones could put those valuables at risk.  Better to leave the diamond where it is, for all to enjoy.

  7. purpleprinc3 How the Taliban rose to power is ultimately irrelevant.  The fact is that they are there and very dangerous at the moment.  And unless your house happens to have a formidable security system like mine does, I think I shall keep my things in my house.  Besides, I use my things every day.
