Vierotchka Oh I know well about Naziism.  My grandpa and grandma were in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and my maternal granddad was in the Navy.  He died of lung cancer from the asbestos that they used in the ships, so you can lose the attitude, toots. How many Europeans ended up dying so that Europe would finally be at peace?  And now the rest of the world wants in on the bounty that they did nothing to obtain.

  6. Vierotchka Incorrect: the countries did not (for the most part) fight off colonialism; the colonial powers were bankrupt from fighting World War 2 and had to let go of their colonies.  Unfortunate that the colonies were nowhere near ready for independence.
