  1. I think the US knew Russia would find this war difficult. Old materiel and tactics and the poor performance in Afghanistan. Sacrificing Ukrainians and Russians, but no Americans, for their real aim; containing China! A hole in the Belt and Road and the threat of sanctions if China continues to trade with Russia. The Evil Empire is its rightful title!
