They didn't realise that lots of idiots would get together and demand independence. Things needed to change!

@Nicolas-uu3jr I'm not a robot, so "basic physics" doesn't explain anything about me. Nor does it explain anything about China's nukes. I suppose you believe America can have nuclear weapons because they are "exceptional" and nobody else is? Or am I wrong about that?

@mudshovel 289 Ask the Marsh Arabs and the Kurds and the Iraqi's (to an extent) how well America keeps it's word. (I'll think of more later.)

@Nicolas-uu3jr I agree with your first sentence! Definitely! Only one nation has used them in anger. Let's hope it remains that way. As America is always threatening China, I think it's lucky China has some of its own. If you don't think that, then you're one of the craZieZ!

@mudshovel 289 Did Hong Kong promise anything, or was it a one sided arrangement? Did they say at the handover that they would immediately push for independence, or was it expected that, as it was China's before it was stolen, HK would become part of China again?
