Iain Duncan-Smith - the second "i" added late - was an Army corporal. (I may have that wrong, but if i have, the Army made a biggr one.) He also lied about his "studies" at Uni level. A man whose word can be trusted!

Didn't Putin offer the trapped in Mariupol a very similar thing? A few more dead and now Zelensky offers Russian prisoners extra.
10
Their intended purpose was to defend the UK. This is not what they are doing. And please don't say that Putin was using Ukraine as a practice before invading us!
10
Farage is a grifter and a buffoon, like his American hero! And that outfit...
8
@imperialisticvonhabsburg3149 Agreements carry little or no weight with America.
7
@johndean1634 Western Media are desperate to show all the weapons given to Ukraine have made a big difference. But they would, wouldn't they? They're quite happy to see Ukraine denuded of its young men as long as Russia is losing its young men too. Has peace been mentioned at all? Not really!
4
@luisdotgarcia And they are so glad of that! Especially the totally ridiculous CYBERTRUCK.
3
Nothing. Absolutely nothing at all. Although there are no Russian oligarchs left to chip in.
2
Putin learned from the Dambusters. Well done!
2
@johnsuncle888 I would think the Black and Tans had a lot more to do with it.
2
@Dorgpoop But had NATO disbanded this may not have happened. NATO exists so that America can claim it is not acting on its own.
2
@tomriley5790 Then why was Ukraine squealing about Nordstream 2 leaving them without heating? Russia has plenty of oil and gas.
2
Some think NATO's constant expansion Eastward has caused this. Funny old world.
2
This Double Down viewer dies NOT watch this channel.
2
On the advice of our masters, the USA. It's their base and they're unhappy. Not unhappy enough to leave, however!
1
@MARTINA-gc3tq You did, this is about people lying about forced labour.
1
What happened to the bloke who got bricked on the head and in his balls?
1
Of course they do.
1
@mcata3625 Unlike dragging people away from the protest?
1
@mcata3625 LOL!
1
Taking a leaf from "Bomber" Harris' play book?
1
Says the general, whose armies have brought death and destruction across the globe since he made the statement. Dambusters are an example to look to, it seems.
1
Why didn't he stay there and work the same miracles as he has here? Ukraine wants to join EU so Boris could give him some tips.
1
That would not be a Tory or Farridge government I suppose?
1
@Greg-fl4cb As far as the Labour Right and the rest of the country was concerned, it was all about Antisemitism. Nothing to do with Labour's plans and what they could have meant for the people. Not bowing deeply enough at the Cenotaph didn't work, nor did the Czech spy "revelation", nor several others. But organised Jewry and the gutter press working together - but separately - made it the only talking point. The real villains were Kinnock and "Bomber" Benn and Dame Hodge and all the other Blairites. And the "free" Press.
1
But it is NATO versus Russia. And more. Were the Paralympic athletes banned from these latest games because they might attack Ukrainian athletes? Or American ones? Or any from the "Free World"? Were they asked if they supported Putin, or was it assumed?
1
Hubris!
1
Taiwan will return to China anyway!
1
I wonder if it's because of all the money the Tories are putting into the NHS?
1
What? No civilians around at night? Where do they go?
1
I believe Putin has his eyes on New Zealand next.
1
A chance to go out and kill a few people without being charged with murder. I wonder if any black British will go to Ukraine? Nah, no chance.
1
@doogus8728 Perhaps they are men who would like to kill and this is a way to do it without police interference?
1
@doogus8728 Reasonable provocation? Like having WMDs that could be ready to attack the US in 45 mins.
1
@doogus8728 Ok. Is this the only invasion since WW2?
1
I'm angry that virtually nobody tried to engage with the Russians and Ukrainians before this happened. All they've done is try to prolong the war for their own benefit.
1
Crap! @FakeUniquetiker
1
@xo121w So this is going to be Zelensky's revenge?
1
@Logical Musicman Like the US does?
1
@christhompson6010 What was found in the balloon the brave pilots shot down?
1
@stuartx7865 What a brilliantly incisive post! They're lengthening the conflict and thousands are dying and nobody talks about peace. Deal with it!
1
Isn't it wonderful that these Western weapons will lead to more Ukrainian and Russian deaths - and no Western deaths at all?
1
Not a credible threat, they feel they have a credible defence; unlike Syria, Iraq, Libya, Somalia etc.
1
I am sure Climate Change will wait until the UK can afford to consider what to do. It will wait a few more years for Rishi.
1
And the Ukrainians have lost only 14. That's 12 on that island at the start and...
1
They could seek a cease fire, but that wouldn't suit the West, so they won't do that.
1
Yo, dude, great sense of humour!
1
@jimpickins7900 I suppose so. A bit sneaky when people have trekked hundreds of miles for a new life in one of the world's great nations only to be shuffled off to the middle of Africa.
1
Shanghai Eye viewers DO NOT watch this channel. Silly!
1
@forgivemenot1 The US manoeuvred Putin for a long time. The efforts to get talks going on Russian fears and heading off the war took 5% of the efforts they've made to prolong the war by flooding Ukraine with weapons. They have used the current situation to attack Russia on the backs of Ukrainian lives.
