  3. Is it true that most people really don't care about you? You would be so surprised at how little people actually care about you. It is like you do not exist. If you were to die right now, life would just go on, as if you never existed in the first place. Seriously, there would be a funeral and after that you will be long forgotten like the poem Ozymandias says. Your neighbours won’t care, your friends, your work colleagues won’t care; your relatives won’t care. Your parents and siblings may, but even they too will move on after a while. That is just life. We are not inherently valuable despite what is preached. It is one of the things that enables me to live so to speak. That really nobody gives a rats ass about who you are and what you have done or achieved. They are even too self-absorbed in their own affairs and delusions to even to have the energy to care about everything else in their surroundings. You can become so much happier by just adopting this simple approach. You can overcome narcissism and the obsession with vanity and material gain, when you realize that society does not care one iota about what you look like or what have. I repeat, if you dropped dead right now, life would go on like you never existed in the first place. One more thing is that life isn't valuable anymore today. There are 7 billion of us in the world. Nobody stops to look and admire at a living human being, something that is taken for granted. Instead, if you are in the working class, your body is just looked as a pair of hands and the use of manual slave labor for some big business industries. The moral: Be grateful and enjoy your time alive on this planet in this universe.
