I reregistered in California online last Thursday, and just got my new vote by mail ballot yesterday. I'm going to send it in immediately before there's any chance it can be switched again...because after May 23rd we're screwed if our registration is changed!

How did you hear about this? I didn't get a notice. I'm so disappointed that I missed it! Will there be another in SoCal? I want to find out how to get notified if so.

Noam Chomsky was just on Democracy Now! yesterday and said he'd vote for Bernie. Noam said he never thought Bernie would make it this far, so he'd vote for him! But he also said he'd choose the lesser of two EVILS for Hillary in the fall if Bernie doesn't get the nomination. (I think he said if you live in a swing state.) He said the GOP would not be worth it. That's the gist of it. Not an exact quote, but you can probably find their interview. Not saying you need to follow his advice, just know that many of us respect his wisdom. I'll need time to get over it before I can decide to vote for Hillary. But I couldn't vote for Trump, even with how disgusted I am with this primary.

Or will trump? He was friends with him too and on Epsteins private jets to the island.

+atreyu119 your sarcasm is far too advanced.

+Petalflipper people are spreading rumors that they threw chairs. So far I have found no credible reports that happened. There also were not enough chairs, you can see dozens of people standing and sitting on the floor on the sideline in the videos.

I read the whole thing by Coffee Cat on DU last night. She comes across as a very honest person, very open. And she is confused what happened too. That was 4 years ago. She reregistered as a democrat immediately after. To be safe, she also reregistered at the Iowa caucus to make sure she was Democrat because she wasn't on the record. To me, it sounds like whoever was in charge of collecting the voter registrations (I'm looking at you, Hillary people with the big ground game running everything) at the Iowa caucus never turned them in to the registrar. Sounds like somebody in charge broke the law.

I think they're giving us credit to read between the lines, without naming names so as to avoid a slander/libel lawsuit.

Not in the 2nd tier county convention. The whole caucus thing is ridiculous. But about 1/3 less Hillary delegates showed up for the 2nd tier. So they either were fake to begin with, or changed their minds about Hillary after the first caucus.

+Kevin Arnold yep. Guilty. I'm a sapiosexual.

Maybe not, but the GOP does it to the Democrats every freaking election.

NY Times article excerpts [with notes] MAY 19: Nearly two-thirds of voters, for example, say that Mr. Trump is not honest and trustworthy. Just as many say the same of Mrs. Clinton. If the election were held now, 47 percent of registered voters would support Mrs. Clinton, versus 41 percent for Mr. Trump. [note: Hillary leads Trump by 6%.] [If 3% error margin: 47% voting for Hillary -3% = 44% 41% voting for Trump +3% = 44% Tied.] Mrs. Clinton’s head-to-head advantage has narrowed somewhat since Mr. Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee: Last month, she led him by 10 points in a CBS News poll. [note: 40% lead loss is worded as her "advantage has narrowed somewhat"] Mr. Sanders leads Mr. Trump, 51 percent to 38 percent. [note: Bernie leads Trump by 13%] [If 3% error margin 51% voting for Bernie -3% = 48% 38% voting for Trump +3% = 41% Bernie still leads.] http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/05/20/us/politics/donald-trump-hillary-clinton-poll.html?referer=https://www.google.com/

After the convention in July, assuming Bernie doesn't get the nomination, I'm going to reregister as a Republican. I hope masses do that and freak out DWS, Hillary, and the DNC. I can always change it back to democrat or no party before the deadline. But I think that will send a clear message to the DNC that people are leaving the Democratic Party in droves in reaction to their treatment of Bernie and his supporters in the primary. Even if I end up getting over being burnt by Hillary and her people (and hold my nose so hard it hurts) and eventually vote for her, it will give me some satisfaction that we made them sweat.

Great news: it sounds like they're discussing removing Debbie Wasserman Schulz from the July convention, and Hillary Clinton people are for the idea! https://www.google.com/amp/www.esquire.com/news-politics/politics/news/amp45229/debbie-wasserman-schultz-dnc-chair/#

+Robert Jordan Roberta Lange was a dictator at the Nevada convention and Barbara Boxer is an in-law to Hillary's family. Too bad they're both retiring so we can't vote them out with pleasure.
