  5. brianwesley28 that’s nice that your sister is a nurse and you use her story at nursing school to justify your prejudice. I guess by having a sister who’s a nurse that makes you one, or an expert in medical doctors. But then nursing school is not Med school. And she is not a doctor and neither are you. Or me. Although, I am not a stranger to the medical world entirely myself either, as I was the executive assistant to a board certified MD who was our chief medical officer.   14. Fire department is a very insular community from what those in the know have told me. A lot of personal preference/nepotistic type discrimination. Was it an affirmative action hire or a majority black community? Most firefighters in my area are white.
