  1. Yes ambulance can cost $500-2,000 in the US. People are taking Uber and lyft or risking driving themselves to the emergency room here!

  3. Thank you, yes I’m one of those people too. Had a bad fall, thought I broke my knee. Two simple xrays (that were clear) and a 5 minute dr interaction...$3,000. Had to go on a year repayment program I worked out with the hospital. And I have insurance! Deductible is $6,000 before it kicks in.

  8. Buy Bronkaid or Primatene tablets to keep on hand for emergency. You have to get them at the pharmacy counter, but you don’t need a prescription. They just control the sale because it’s epinephrine. (Unfortunately you can’t get the mist anymore, just the pills. But good to have handy for urgent needs.) Obviously if you’re in a true emergency, call 911. Good luck and health.
