Oh gawd, don’t subject your subliminal brain to that! 😝 what I find helpful is white noise mixes or I watch university history or science classes (or listen to podcasts) from MIT, Yale etc. Sometimes I get sucked in because it’s too interesting, then I’ll click on classes that are clearly above my level, or find a professor whose voice is not as dynamic.

  3. He started it. There were some grainy old school videos of a city hall hearing with his son (probably in Clearwater FL) explaining how it got started. Looked like from the 80’s, probably could find them on YouTube.

  10. When I was a kid they had pink “personality tests” in stores and restaurants all over the County. I remember filling them out because they were so irresistible. (I can’t remember if I ever mailed it in. Probably not, since I’m not on a perma mailing list like you are decades later.)

  14. I get what you’re saying, but how do you even know a soul is real in the first place? I don’t know of any proof for what is called the soul, other than your self-awareness and thoughts and feelings...which are functions of a physical organ, your brain (working with your glands that release chemicals). Higher functioning brains in some other animals than humans (like dogs) even appear to have a “conscience”, which is what some people have thought was evidence of a soul.
