Bernie is endorsed by the Vermont Democratic Party so they can’t stop him. It’s up to us to vote, so he is the clear winner!

That’s great for daily Kos. Lame ass Markos must be grumbling now 😄

Taren Leitzke I just read an article yesterday about Ro Khanna having an AI conversation with Bernie recently. After they discussed it Bernie came up with action plans. Love Nina Turner ♥️

Gondwana she didn’t step down until February. I support Warren in addition to Bernie but I’m not sure she could win.
2
Gondwana i think it’s a shame she’s polling so poorly. She polls much higher than gabbard tho. Let’s see how things look after the debates begin in June. There will be a lot of interesting things to shake out and topics that before now weren’t being seriously addressed. The first primary vote isn’t until a year from now next February. Bernie and Biden are leading. Let’s just hope it’s not joe Biden. We need Bernie and Elizabeth’s policies. They’re friends and if they don’t already have each other in mind for VP pick, I’m sure they’ll have an important cabinet position for the other.
2
The Deal sure they get credit for their moderate improvements but in 2016 Hillary literally mocked Bernie saying Medicare for all would never happen! She also lied about him helping her in the 90’s to get improved healthcare. People remember when you put a knife in their back and lie for self promotion.
2
I think because they’re disorganized or having trouble finding one year or attachments so they don’t want to release them until they have it all together. Maybe his book sales complicated them or something, but they probably only started having a professional doing them in the last couple years. Or they were still being done at home. I dunno. They did their own taxes like we do at least in 2016 and prior. I’d have trouble getting 10 years of my records together and mine are pretty simple comparatively! Anyway he said they’ll release them this year and it sounded like in the next couple of months. I don’t expect to see anything interesting so I don’t know why people are making a big deal out of it. We’ll surely have them way before the first votes next February. I guarantee if there were anything that even suggested there was something off, the media and the Republican Party would make a giant issue out of it. I’m not worried. I think there’s just people mad at him for daring to run in 2016 so they’re looking for anything. But like you said, we’ll definitely see.

Nominay compare candidates on govtrack.us
2
Because you said you wouldn’t support anyone to the right of Elizabeth Warren. Tulsi is to the right of her. It’s ok if you like her, but people seem to be under the impression she’s far left. Tulsi isn’t, she’s center left.
2
I’m not expecting anyone to take someone’s word for it. That’s why I linked govtrack.us
2
I think we need more change than the world.
2
I don’t think Warner is running.
2
Lol how’s the weather? I don’t think you need to lie on other candidates to promote your favored ones, makes you look bad and by extension the one you’re supporting. You don’t need to worry about Warner.
2
The older voters will vote for whoever is the Democrat on the ballot in the general. The younger voters will use the energy from a candidate who actually invigorates them to get out the vote. Bernie outperformed most of his polling in each state after his campaign volunteers went into the community. And that was without the media promoting him like they were Clinton. Imagine if Bernie had not only had his true grassroots support but also the media in his corner! It would’ve been a blowout.
2
Well whether you’re right or we’re right, either way, Trump will be gone in 2020...good riddance!
2
SPG 565 don’t worry, the polling is clear. Whether it’s Biden or Bernie...they will smoke Trump! I hope it’s Bernie because he’s honest and consistent and it’ll be hilarious watching Trump try to chicken out of debating Bernie like he did last time. Although if the worse happens Biden will still swamp him. Trump has already been fretting to his staff about Biden throwing his hat in the ring. Trump knows they both will kick his lying ass, and it’s a glorious thing! If he’s still in office in 2020 after the investigations that is.

Nickelicious brown just ended his campaign

Josh Frayer I under your reasoning. If I were to go by the very vocal anti Bernie Hillary voices on Twitter and social media I’d come to the same conclusion. But the polling shows Bernie has huge support. He only trails right behind Biden. The others including establishment candidates are not polling near Bernie’s numbers.
2
Josh Frayer I’m sure there’s a portion that feel that way. I’d guess they feel that way about Warren too. She’d be a fine VP to him his n my opinion. But the polling just doesn’t show her having significant support. Deserved or not, she trails. Biden and Bernie are at the top. If Biden runs, it’ll be one or the other. I hope he doesn’t because he’s not progressive. If Biden doesn’t run, well have to see who starts bubbling up out of the pack. Probably won’t have a good idea until after the debates begin in June. But barring some freak event, Bernie will be in the lead or second place. I look at it like the pre-primary is more of a VP tryout for the lesser supported candidates.
2
Josh Frayer ok if you wanna take your cues from personal anecdotes/observations and social media that’s fine. I’m going to stick with data and pools of thousands instead. And that’s why I said wait til after debates start. To see who the ones polling poorly in far third place (like Harris and Warren) bubble up. I’m about policy so I’d happily support Warren though I have doubts she’ll be able to improve her polling significantly enough to win. Bernie is easily my favorite due to his authenticity and his giant grassroots support. YouTube is a cesspool though. If you’re on a mission to turn the tide to Warren here, good luck to you. With the anonymity here and trolls whose motives are unknown, it’ll be an uphill battle. As you can see if you sort through the hundreds of comments, most are promoting other candidates like Andrew Yang who (if you use your logic) have just as much a chance of becoming popular, even though they poll in the 1% range. We can’t know how the lesser candidates will shake out until more time passes and the debates begin.
2
Josh Frayer and in case I was coming off as too argumentative, I agree on the anti-Bernie from Clinton backers and anti-Harris from Bernie backers. But try posting positives about Warren. You’ll see at least on YouTube (and on other social media) a large anti-Warren sentiment by Bernie backers. I’m not one of them, but I understand the disappointment about her not endorsing Bernie last time. Loyalty goes a long way with people and they see her as a betrayal, or if not a betrayal as a lack of spine. On a choice between Harris and Warren though, I don’t believe they’d ever come around on Harris. Warren they could in the general for sure, but given the choice between Bernie and Warren it’ll be Bernie in the primary. If she somehow made it as the winner in the primary I think it’d be no problem supporting her in the general. But she has to get through the primary and her natural support base by progressives will go to Bernie. The media isn’t promoting her but favor Harris instead. So I just don’t see her making it through the primary. The above is just my speculations.

Unfortunately Alexandria can’t be pres or VP until she’s 35.
2
Or Nina Turner
2
Probably because this was about second choice for president in a hypothetical situation, but Nina Turner isn’t running. I’d love Nina Turner as VP! Or any cabinet position Bernie and Nina would prefer or see as best fit.
2
SomeDangOutlaw when you lie about things (like his age that’s easily fact checked) you make your preferred candidates look worse.
2
Yes Nancy Pelosi is a year older. And wayyy older are RBG and Dianne Feinstein, Who are both 85. Feinstein was just re-elected to the senate so she’ll be in office for six years until age 91.
2
I call that a non sequitor or moving the goalposts.
2
Marcel Duchamp's Fidget Spinner him too? Why do the neoNazis like yang and Tulsi so much? It must be because they have some progressive ideas but are really only center left.
2
Jonathon Aiello I’m all for pre K. But I’d gladly support Stacy Abrams as VP (she may throw her hat in) and I’d love Nina Turner as VP!
2
I meant February 2016. Sorry
1
praetoriancorps yes she’s center left. Compare candidates at govtrack.us

Then who for a vp?
1
She is not left of Bernie. She’s center left. Compare candidates at govtrack.us

Agree with both. Turner VP

Opinionated Ape surprisingly Bernie is polling higher in texas than Beto. I just read an article yesterday. I hope gaffe machine joe decides not to run. Or if he does puts his foot in his mouth significantly early on 😄
1
I just woke up so I’m not sure what point you were originally trying to make. I thought you were supporting Beto for president so I pointed out Bernie polls better than Beto does in his own state. I’m not discounting Beto did extremely well in texas. But the country also wanted Cruz out so he got a ton of outside support including by Bernie progressives. However it has come out since about him being centrist and voting with the Republican Party, and taking oil money. You may defend that as a texas thing, but that has made him lose support by progressives. If Beto were to run for President he can’t stay in texas the whole election, he’d have to travel the country. Would love to see texas turn blue or at least be a swing state. Yes the establishment will support Biden heavily and he could win against Trump but the passion of the youth and the progressives to turn out for Biden won’t be there.

spindalis79 woo hoo! Enjoy!

Conspirazy Daily Kos is not a standard poll so take it with a grain of salt. But that’s what makes it so amusing that the polling is surely not what Markos wants to see! He alienated Bernie supporters in 2016 so it must chafe his hide that Bernie is 55% in his sites poll. A better poll would be morning consult or quinnipiac or one of the high rated polls (using 538 grading system) to get a more accurate idea.
