  1. I don’t often wear gloves but it depends where I’m going and what I anticipate touching. Wearing them does help me remember to wash my hands before touching my face or eyes. Fomite transmission isn’t considered to be a common route but it’s a small possibility and anyway there are other things you can catch more easily from surfaces. I worked with a lady who regularly used Lysol on everything, she had an immunocomprimised person at home. It’s not like touching common surfaces wasn’t a concern for many before covid, there’s a reason grocery stores has had wipes by the cart rack for years. It’s up to you and your risk assessments. 👍
