Comments by "Paddle Duck" (@paddleduck5328) on "Establishment Dems Start War on Bernie" video.
The New York Times article said the elite donor class bemoaned not being able to intimidate Bernie. It’s crazy how much hubris they have.
5
I don’t blame the supporters, we need all hands on deck. I blame the Clinton campaign, their pied piper strategy, their media insiders, the overpaid dishonest advisors like David Brock, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
4
Screw them, we’re going to show up and vote Bernie in.
3
Number Five you should read the comments on slimy David Brock’s medium apology. He was thoroughly roasted with facts.
2
Hey hey ho ho, the status quo has got to go!
2
Harris polls poorly against Trump, Bernie and Biden polls well against Trump. Harris fell in the polls after her post announcement bump. Biden started at the top and is slowly slipping. Once he announces, I’m pretty sure he’ll sink.
2
I don’t know, ’m torn between him running to take away Bernie’s age from the corporate Dems as ammo, and wishing Biden would just go away. He’s likeable to a lot people, but he’s got a crummy record and already talked about compromising with the GOP before even entering the race.
2
Tommy Hayes relax, buddy. It’s just a silly nickname that Kyle kulinski of the channel SecularTalk used, like calling Gillibrand “jello brand” and Amy Klobuchar “cloud boot jar”.
2
And he called Hickenlooper a breakfast cereal.
2
Failing strategy that will re-elect Trump. Also every single candidate running had to agree to support the eventual nominee. Every candidate. So let’s show up to vote and make him the nominee.
2
Timber Wolf a member of a “big tent” party that includes “Democrat” Joe manchin. Bernie won 23 of 50 states, and 43% of the Democratic primary.
2
Clinton campaign strategy of 2015: let’s prop up Trump so he’s the nominee...then Hillary wins! Pied piper strategy fails miserably - the Fox crowd loves him, and Hillary’s campaign helps him get elected.
2
Olds Rocket 88 good luck with your health. No LSD here, the “pied piper strategy” was a real thing. And if we’re going to throw around insults instead of addressing facts, having 88 in your nick makes you sound like a bonehead. Not too sharp.
2
That he has the support of Democrats. And you were obviously unaware he had people on the DNC commission and they succeeded in reducing the power and number of superdelegates.
2
Hindsight is 2020 👓 Bernie ♥️🇺🇸
2
23 states and 43% in the primary had the foresight for Bernie in 2016 without any help from the media and DNC. I can’t wait to see how much stronger it is in 2020 with our hindsight!
2
But only in the best way.
2
Francis James Gillies yes, Montana militia man is a Trump supporter. He trolls all the time. If I recall correctly, he said the party switch southern strategy never happened and Hitler was a socialist. Lol
2
PigIron BigIron slightly. Lol. No, Hillary’s 2.5% was slightly. Bernie polled 10% ahead of Trump. Your statements aren’t backed by data.
1
Thanks for calling me stupid. Really drives home your message when you don’t even have the facts straight. Hillary’s lead was averaged at around 3.5% ahead of Trump, her popular vote count came within 1.5% of the polls. They were pretty accurate. Pundits and their analyses were poor, but the polls were damn close. Go check realclearpolitics.com
1
Ok, live in your angry fact-free world. Good luck.
1
Joe manchin “I’m a Democrat”
1
bleu water lol your sarcasm is perfect. Like the Magritte pic.
1
Third party can’t win the presidency. They can’t run independent, every single candidate had to pledge to support the nominee. So let’s show up and make him the nominee!
1
Titken Toft i think you’re confusing Bernie with another candidate. Climate change is one of Bernie’s pillars in his platform.
1
I don’t know his stance on nuclear but it’s unpopular on the left with almost all candidates, he was for labeling no biggie, glyphosate I’m unaware of a stance on but you can’t deny there are cases being won against manufacturers, and he is not anti-vaccine. I think you must be confusing him with another candidate or the Green Party.
1
Thanks for reference. I don’t see a problem with yoga and meditation, acupuncture many people claim it helps I don’t have a strong opinion either way, nuclear is very unpopular on the left so good luck changing the minds of the public who the candidates represent, and criticism of being again cloning embryos years ago? C’mon. That’s was a hard disputed topic. Maybe you don’t remember the uproar over dolly the sheep. It’s it’s a problem for you that’s fine. But I don’t have a problem with these. Who are the candidates running that you support and are pro nuclear?
1
LumpySpaceBrotha yes to everything except term limits I don’t believe is on his platform. I also think term limits is unnecessary because we can vote them out. If there were term limits, Vermont wouldn’t be able to re-elect Bernie who they love.
1
Pat Doyle yeah they can, but then they’ll be partly responsible for the party on the opposite side winning. Other elections are fine, but with our system for the presidential vote it’s one of the two parties.
1
Pat Doyle I would’ve held my nose and voted for her if it mattered, but I was lucky enough to be in a state that was solid blue so I didn’t need to make that decision.
1
Read the article, this is about leaders and wealthy elite donors. We just want a fair hands-off fight to let the people choose.
1
Sassenach
1
Robert McDougle I was just teasing you because I disagreed.
1
Mayor Pete or slimy ass David Brock?
1
Just vote in the primary, then see.
1
Jerry B. I hear ya. Yeah, that should be interesting. I’m suspecting it’ll be redacted and unsatisfactory but at least we’ll see some of it.
1
coryluke12 but not in small donors. I wouldn’t be proud of Trump for that.
1
Tony Hale read the article. The rich elite donors and leaders are bemoaning not being able to coerce and cajole and intimidate him.
1
That’s fine if you don’t choose him, but the people should be allowed to choose with a fair primary. If the rich elite donors to the party were scheming to suppress the candidate you favor, it would be wrong also.
1
CannonballZ1975 trumps money doesn’t have as large a percentage of small donors as Bernie. Trump also began his campaign over a year ago. Get real here.
1
Rrosa Seconda keep talking sense to those on social media. Remind us what an anomaly we are with our terrible for profit insurance. Thank you!
1
1:52 this is the New York Times.
1
I read the article. David Brock has quite a history and is hardly a nobody, I suggest you research more including his apology to Bernie in 2016. They’re full of it. These are rich elite intelligent donors and leaders, they are no slouches off the street. The polling is clear that Bernie beats Trump, he polls only behind Biden. The rest of the candidates trail far behind, including the ones they’ve been promoting. Sure it’s early, but he’s not faltering he’s rising despite all the negative coverage. And the polling was clear in 2016, even the one taken just before the election in November after he’d been out of the race for months.
1
Richard Parisi then you should be comforted by the polls.
1
He held over 30 rallies to help her get elected. Remember that bullshit complaint about his jet use? He traveled to CAMPAIGN FOR CLINTON.
1
“If he had been willing to go out and really stump for Hillary” I hear goalposts moving.
1
unwishfulthink I personally think they’re lame but I was explaining that it wasn’t a homophobic slur and the origin was a humor from a YouTube channel with a huge following who didn’t single out mayor Pete with the hard to pronounce name because he’s given them to several candidates. Sorry for the long run on sentence but I’m heading out the door. Have a good morning.
1
Prasanna Surange we know David Brock. Go search him on google.
1
I love how even with all the bullshit negative press on him instead of the fawning over the other preferred establishment candidates, Bernie’s polling numbers keep steady, and even are creeping up. Imagine what it’d look like if they actually gave him positive press like the others!
1
Yep, and they can try their thoughts and prayers all they want 😆
1
Young Gotti lol oh yeah saving our planet for our children and getting us healthcare so we don’t die is so “evil”.
1
Oh to be so misinformed. Maybe ignorance is bliss.
1
He said that, but point taken.
1
o o lol good point. And shrub 😆
1
M M 1:45 I guess the paper of record NYT is just “Russian propaganda” now? Lol smh.
1
Teresa FielekeBrooks my opinion is pure hubris.
1
weaseldragon he actually did. Maybe you weren’t paying attention. Bernie also won 23 of 50 states and received 43% of the Democratic primary votes.
1
Bernie ♥️🇺🇸
1
Bernie ♥️🇺🇸 the people’s president
1
So I guess they’re doing that with Amy Klobuchar for hers too huh? Ridiculous.
1
Itznotjesus J ridiculous and zero logic.
