Maybe you haven’t noticed, but the US is having a huge movement for black lives to matter as much as white lives matter here. And we have a racist president in the White House and an election in just 3 months. Im sure you don’t mean to, but you’re sounding like the offended whites about BLM who say “all lives matter”! And they don’t mean it, they just use it to discredit black voices. It’s like having a movement for breast cancer awareness, and someone else pops in and goes “all cancers matter!” It’s like a whataboutism to direct focus off the cause and minimize it. Preach hatred to others? So thinking white supremacy is disgusting is preaching hatred? Look up the intolerance paradox. Other people can use their tools of persuasion and enlightenment on their racist friends if they choose. And I hope they do. But expecting a person of color/black person to have a non-emotional blasé reaction to racism which directly puts them at risk... seems pretty disrespectful.

And no...this whole thing started because David made a video about racist GOP and we were replying to it. Then someone comes and says my friend is a racist but he’s ok. And at that point you didn’t need to insert yourself taking up for people excusing racism. I actually gave you a whole lot of the benefit of the doubt that you apparently didn’t notice, said I was sure you didn’t mean it that way. And not to fight each other. That was me assuming you’re on “our side” just terribly misguided imo on this topic, not understanding your audience of one and his particular place in this picture, missing the bigger picture of what’s happening in our country here in the US, directing all your attention on the one black person on this thread. I piped up because I’d say according to our friends posts it’s apparent he’s made his most salient points. And doesn’t want to get into it further with you. Respect that. I replied because that seems obvious to me, and somehow didn’t seem obvious to you. Go back and read what I wrote. I didn’t call you any names. Or assign intentions to you.
