  13. I guess there were no marches with neoNazis chanting “Jews will not replace us!” I guess Trump didn’t pull “both sides” out of his ass in response. I guess 10 people weren’t rammed by a neoNazis car and Heather Heyer didn’t die. I guess that non-existent neoNazi killer wasn’t just found guilty of murder after his trial in the courts. I guess there aren’t lots of other neoNazis all across the country, and in prison. Nope. No Nazis here at all in America. Just ask all the people at stormfront.

  16. Nobody’s going to deny the holocaust was worse than today’s neoNazi problem. No, of course they existed before Trump. But the alt right has increased their ranks and they feel emboldened since he was elected. To paraphrase gillum on Trump I say “I’m not saying he’s a Nazi, but the Nazis think he’s a Nazi”. Just because something else is a bigger problem, doesn’t mean the smaller problem isn’t a problem.

  19. You compared people being killed by neoNazis to lightning. Don’t act like you didn’t minimize. Problem is, lightning attacks indiscimately. But people walking around and praying in their house of worship are being intentionally targeted to die by wannabe Nazi Hitler-worshipping killers. I don’t know if your precious bubble wrap will protect innocents from cars and rifle-wielding rightwing extremists. But go ahead and mock our dead by “safe space” jokes. Your criticism sounds like nothing but being pedantic. If you’re anti-racist, great. I don’t know if I believe you after you compared killing of Jews to lightning strikes, but if you’re being sincere you should know that you’re using the same arguments that the white supremacists use. People aren’t going to stop using the term Nazi for neoNazis. (Especially when many of them self identify as that, and say Hitler should have gone further.). So it’s a wasted effort here. Maybe your arguments make more sense in Germany or wherever, but if you’re going on an American site talking about American politics hairsplitting over antisemitc/neoNazi/Nazi verbiage is going to make people question your motive. If you don’t want to have your motives questioned, clearly state your stances from the outset. Oh yeah, and don’t follow it up diminishing actual deaths from hate crimes by comparing them to deaths by natural events.
