Recommendations for the next round: OptiLube XPD, Amsoil All-In-One, John Deere Fuel Protect Winter Formula, Summer Formula too just for fun. According to big study OptiLubeXPD was the best of the best. John Deere products weren't in that test but I've heard really good things about them.

He doesn't take manufacturer money like Consumer Reports...that would explain your conclusion.

I've had multiple dash cams cook off in the West Texas heat. I found the Rexing brand that uses a super capacitor instead of a lithium battery and it has lasted years. Image quality and app are also good. Downloading clips you need can be a pain though.

I work for a distributor and at our last meeting with manufacturers I told the T-Rex guys about your video and then played it for him. He was very happy.

@ProjectFarm What about the Honda twin blade micro cut system? Honda is so good at engineering their products I wonder if there is actually a better blade for their mowers. I have the HRN216VKA and the stock Honda blade.

Dammit...I went cheap on my last Amsoil purchase by not getting Signature Series. I won't make that mistake again.

I second the Benchmade and Cold Steel assessment. If not for weight it might be a tossup for me between Cold Steel and Benchmade offerings. Considering weight I've been carrying a Benchmade for three or four years now. Before that I would change them out every year.

Accurate testing as far as I can tell. I used to change pocket knives every year...until I bought a Benchmade. It's been in my pocket for three or four years now. You can get a really nice edge on it and it holds it for a long time. Some knives I have will dull in the drawer...not joking. I put them in as sharp as I can get them then I check them at some point and they are dull somehow.

I have used a few products and I always go back to Nu Finish. That stuff is good. You can apply it once and forget it for at least a year. That's what I tell myself anyway...I usually apply it once and never again. It really seems to hold up well enough that I don't feel the need to apply it ever again. The rest of the bottle ends up drying in my garage.

Seafoam good...Lucas BAD. That thick crap will be a nightmare to move around when it gets cold.

It would have been easier to take it apart and clean the head, piston and valves. Right?

PIAA makes a silicone blade with a plastic blade design. They also come with a treatment for your windshield that you apply yourself before installing the blades.

"Everybody says that."

Hondas are awesome...except for the transmission. Get a Honda with a manual transmission and plan on having it for a very long time.

Diesel Kleen versus Amsoil Injector Cleaner/Cetane Booster please... I have no idea how you would do this but I would love to see it if possible.

If you were trying to loosen the studs I'm pretty sure you were turning them the wrong way.

@willierants5880 On the video where the Beast guy planted a bunch of trees they were all about ten feet apart....stupid. Assuming they live five years they'll already be competing for sun.

thecouchtripper Have you seen the article showing US corn crops dramatically outproducing the rainforests in oxygen?
1
@gionder Your government is likely to blame for allowing that to happen.

I've had great luck with Fenix headlamps. They are fantastic.

Ergonomics are a big deal if you will be using it much. Silky saws are fantastic. They are the total package.

I wonder if applying one of the better duct tapes longitudinally along the broken pipe with maybe a few wraps to hold them down would do better than just wrapping it? Definitely not the way most people would do it but I wonder if it would work better.

Ergonomics can't be underestimated. If you are using one of these saws for very long you will appreciate the differences. Wranglerstar swears by the Samurai now but he used to be all about the Silky. I personally haven't used a Samurai but the Silky saws I have are a joy to use.
