  2. I have used a few products and I always go back to Nu Finish. That stuff is good. You can apply it once and forget it for at least a year. That's what I tell myself anyway...I usually apply it once and never again. It really seems to hold up well enough that I don't feel the need to apply it ever again. The rest of the bottle ends up drying in my garage.

  3. I wonder if applying one of the better duct tapes longitudinally along the broken pipe with maybe a few wraps to hold them down would do better than just wrapping it? Definitely not the way most people would do it but I wonder if it would work better.
