  2. First of all, I doubt your premise. Second of all, most crime victims avoid combat too. Why is it that areas with the most gun control also have the highest crime rates? According to FBI statistics a firearm is 80 times more likely to be used to thwart a crime than to be used to commit one. That doesn't even account for the times no report of the incident was filed. More guns, less crime. That is a statement as real as the force of gravity.

  3. You're definitely wrong. According to FBI statistics, a firearm is 80 times more likely to be used to THWART a violent crime than to be used to commit one. This is the number of REPORTED incidents not the ones where a firearm was used to thwart a crime and nobody reported it. It has nothing to do with manhood and not surprisingly, this beta male would leap to that conclusion. He does so because he finds "manliness" such an elusive construct.
