  1. This psychologist was using all his experience to tell Kaj exactly what he wanted Kaj to know.  He was reading Kaj like a book, preparing a script and delivering it right before our eyes.  The crying was orchestrated deception.  I'm not saying Kaj was fooled but Mitchell was putting on a full court press with the deftness of an experienced knife fighter.
