  1. ***** Among the almost infinite number of  characteristics a human being can have the ones you listed aren't that impressive.  What's most impressive is how people solve their problems.  That's how you can really tell the differences between the races.  You can live your fairy tale all you want but when your black best friend decides to steal all your stuff and whip your ass when you confront him on it don't come crying to me.  Once it becomes clear that you will be going farther in life than he you'll see what he really is.

Fr0stBlade Listen, you can pretend all you want but if you so much as speak of living in a way that is better than your black or white or any other color friend could imagine you will witness a psychological break.  If you have to stoop so as to not offend shorter friends they really aren't your friends.  If you don't hold them to the same standard that you hold yourself you will be holding yourself back.  Most of these made in heaven multiracial friendships are actually some poor white sap who is willing to sacrifice so that his brown friend doesn't feel left out.  If that's your calling go for it.  However, you are sacrificing to make this happen.  It isn't a full expression of your ability.  It is communism/socialism and it never leads anywhere you want to be.

  4. alexplode111 It isn't skin color.  It's basic culture that's different.  I would never go out of my way to harm anybody.  However, I also won't hang out with people with whom I have nothing in common either.  I don't like being forced to pay for these people to live because they don't like having jobs...but they still like making babies.  The whole problem with race in this country is that some will use a claim of racism to steal your stuff or to get away with physically attacking you.  If everybody is the same why don't the same standards apply?  You can have a black man killed by a white homeowner who was being robbed by said black man and that causes the entire black community to start making threats against the homeowner.  Who does that?

  5. ***** Skin color isn't the problem and you know that.  It's just a sign.  A warning perhaps.  It gives you a clue that somebody is significantly different to you.  Prejudice is a good word.  Pre-judging based upon prior experience is the essence of survival.  You'll be wrong from time to time but it's well worth the risk.  Only fools don't pre-judge until there's evidence to believe otherwise.

Amen.  If you kill somebody you can get out in two years and get on food stamps when you get out.  If you get caught with drugs your sentence can be very lengthy and you won't EVER qualify for public assistance(at least in Texas).  The world is a screwed up place if a murderer, pedophile and a rapist can get out of prison and get benefits while somebody who got caught with a joint in college will never be eligible for state benefits if he needs them.

It is illegal for an individual to ship a firearm to an individual that is not a Federal Firearm Licensee who conducts government background checks on whoever picks it up from them.

In the USA our government can determine who is successful and who is not. I had a friend who co-founded a dot com. On his trips to Washington he got the distinct impression that if you gave them enough money they would make anything legal for you. Dianne Feinstein was worth $1 million when she was elected to the Senate. She is now worth $90 million.

  14. The CEO of McDonald's makes more in one year than one of his restaurant employees could make if he worked 1,000 years non-stop. Employees aren't paid enough. If people made enough money they would be happier and less likely to commit crime. Some will always be poor and criminal but most of the working poor are hard working and determined. They aren't respected or fairly compensated so the fat cats can compete with each other.

  19. We share a border with a country filled with people who decapitate people in the streets and time their assassinations so that they will lead the local news. Millions of these people pour into this country every day. We also have large pockets of Africans in larger cities who kill each other for fun. There are over 100 million firearms in this country. If firearms caused murder there would be none of us left.

I had a class in college with a middle aged woman. She said in a speech that when she was fifteen she got pregnant and had an abortion because that's what everybody said she should do. She went on to marry the same man and have five children with him. She was still very distraught over the issue. Her guilt never waned. It causes women severe psychological strain because they know they really, really fucked up.

I learned recently that happiness does not increase with increased income. Once you make $70-75K a year in today's money you are as happy as money can make you. Our government has made that practically impossible for all but a very small number of people.

The wealth disparity has never been this great and it's all because government is serving a very tiny minority. The fact that companies can get away with paying people so little and pocketing insane profits is the cause of lower wages.

Gabriel Castro The wealth disparity in the USA has never been greater.  This is because businesses have bought every politician and told them to keep the cheap labor coming into the country.  As always they play the emotional card even though it will send every man, woman and child in the middle class to the poor house.  The USA is not a capitalistic society.  It is a "crony capitalistic" society that only serves those who pay the politicians with gifts and plush jobs for their entire families.  The surprise isn't that US politicians will sell the people out.  The surprise is for how little they will sell the people out.  Pennies sent a politician's way will result in BILLIONS for the one dealing the pennies.  It's ridiculous.
