  5. That's not true.Chicago has some of the toughest gun laws in the USA and people are shot dead by the dozens there on any given weekend. Australia practically banned firearm ownership and within a few years violent crime was epidemic. Let's say grandma is burglarized by 25 year old man who weighs 200 pounds and is a former rugby player.She hasn't a chance of survival. If she is packing heat she can kill him dead in his tracks.Here on YouTube there are dozens of such instances for your perusal.

  15. I'd like to see you prove what you just claimed about Australia. BTW, "crime" and "guns" are mutually exclusive. There isn't a single crime in any country that requires the use of a gun. America's a pretty violent place? Why does the UK have three times the violent crime rate? You gun control zombies don't get it. Gun control PROTECTS violent criminals from getting their heads blown off. More people die from hammers, fists, hands and feet in the USA than die from rifles.

  17. What's the weather like? I've lived in Texas my whole life and once the weather warms up after winter all hell breaks out amongst the Hispanics and blacks. Cold weather can stifle a lot of violent tendencies. "Born outside the country" doesn't really say much. Are they migrant farm workers/illegal immigrants scraping by or are they college-educated types coming for white collar work? I've never been to Canada but my impression is that as a general rule you are a civil lot. Many factors at play.
