Dude...Your kid's just manipulative. There are a lot of trans people who are smart enough to realize how hard it is for parents to adjust. Your kid just found a way to keep you off balanced for the thrill of seeing you squirm and walk on eggshells. It's a power trip.

@FergusScotchman Because my niece was doing the same crap before she got compliments from her crush (a boy). Claiming to be NB, acting like she's having a panic attack if anyone says "she/her". Her mum was always kind of ignoring her when she was little, and she's addicted to being the center of attention, even if it meant hurting herself or her sister. She once got angry at her Mom and grandma for not letter her go to the pool and retaliated by calling them both bigots LOL. Then a handsome boy started chatted her up on IG, and she suddenly pretends she never identified as a boy. Started posting pictures of herself in sexy dresses and stuffing her bra. Acting like she never insisted that we call her a "him" because the guy she likes is into girly girls. She USED the whole "trans" thing to get attention the family, but dropped it when she got attention for being seen as a pretty girl.
