  2. What I would tell the child: "Mommy is very sad about her big brother being gone. When grownups feel sad, sometimes they shout. But don't worry. The judge will talk to mommy and she'll come home after. Grandpa and Grandma going to come to take you home."

  3. He's probably used to seeing her meltdowns. His little developing nervous system is being flooded with adrenaline and cortisol. Those chemicals can effect how his brain grows forever. I grew up seeing meltdowns like that and now must be medicated to balance out my chemistry. CBD during the morning and a sedative at night. It also makes your system prone to panic attacks. Magnesium supplements help. Talk therapy helps. But my brain is never really going to function correctly.
