@connorapurcell So you copy/ pasted my response huh? Guess you wore yourself out. Kudos. BTW, I didn't read all your BS. You're kind of boring at this point. BTW: Biden won. 😆

Now that I can get behind.

When did that happen?

@spaceace4387 Cops do profile PoC though. Of course, OP is being melodramatic to claim that they shoot randomly at PoC, especially since many cops ARE PoC. Bit in any given situation, if a cop arrives to break up a fight with a white person and a black person, chances are it's the black person who would be put in cuffs. Just look at Victoria's Secret Karen. She assaulted a black woman but the cops assumed she was the innocent party

@spaceace4387 I'm basing it on the fact that I have several friends, family and neighbors who are cops. They teach profiling in training...or at least, they did for a long time. Probably stopped that since 2020. And I don't blame the cops, they were going off statistics and lazy training by their academies. Things are improving, but don't pretend they weren't in need of improvement.

@spaceace4387 Firstly: You say my personal experience is irrelevant but it's not personal experience. It's factual insight on the actual training that cops were given in the 90s and early 2000s. Nice try though. Your strawman needs a sturdier post. Secondly, when they profile it's based on statistics and simplified demographics that are outdated. Bad info that needed revision. In the 50s medicine was different than it is today and it's natural for things to evolve. Again, I'm not blaming the cops themselves. The training taught was faulty and needed to be revised. But it did have an unfair presumption that the most dangerous people come in a certain skin shade. Even black cops were wary of black citizens. Not out of racism, but insufficient data.

@spaceace4387 You're very emotional about this, I can tell. If a perp happens to be a black person, it is what it is. They're breaking the law. The problem arises when one is PRESUMED to be breaking the law BECAUSE of one's skin color despite being innocent of doing so. That's where the injustice lies. You intellectual dishonesty in making it seem as if I'm stating that people of color should be excused from breaking the law is also telling of your raw emotionalism in forming your arguments here.
1
@spaceace4387 For starters, all three can be guilty, but due to laziness many cops would assume the tall black man over the other two without further investigation. Btw...3 posts? You're so upset at this discussion! Maybe you should go outside a bit. Touch some grass.

@spaceace4387 Dude, you're obsessed. Calm down.

@spaceace4387 You wrote 6 books, hon. You're unhinged at this point. Face it. Biden won. Cops admit to racially profiling but it's being fixed in training. Sorry for bursting your delusion.
1
@spaceace4387 Nah. It's more like : I know actual cops who know more than the two of us, and this was what they told me.
1
@spaceace4387 LOL again, not my experience. The expertise of actual cops. You a cop? Do you know any? LOL You are so sad.

@chonk8686 Poverty doesn't have to do with race in USA. Most of the rich families I know are Latinos here in Miami. Poverty is more about classism. Now, if you were to say there are statistically less people of color within the 1% them maybe you have a point, but it's less to do with race and more to do with which class they're born to.

You don't really benefit from white privilege, but you're less likely to be harassed by Karens or the cops if you're white. That's all it means.
1
@connorapurcell Not so when profiling is a thing. Cops admit to using it. And trust me...Karens hate people of color in particular.
1
@connorapurcell LOL that was very long and tedius. You're as emotionally unhinged as that other fella. I don't think you should "trust" me, I'm a stranger, but it's a figure of speech. To act on such a demand of intimacy is a bit melodramatic on your part. I'm not asking for marriage, honey. We're just talking. The cops who profile are not supposed to do so solely on skin color, but laziness is a common human attribute. And it does happen. How am I sexist? You sound like an SJW lol. Seeing racism and sexism where there is none is their routine. One tried to tell me hating cats is misogyny. So do share with me the mental gymnastics you're using to assume I'm sexist. But please try to limit it to one paragraph. Brevity is the soul of wit.😉 PS: Oh...and for the record...You're acting very much like a Karen yourself. Are you going to call my manager? 😂🤣
1
Nope. That's not racist but it's pretty rude.

@ZOG_EXTERMINATOR Yes. You're making the assumption that they cant simply from physical appearances
