  4. Jaime Contreras Actually, I do. I'm a reiki practitioner, AND a believer in Christ's teachings. They in no way conflict each other. The only reason why American Christians have a problem with it is because they've been able to monopolize on spirituality up until now, and do not like the idea of people practicing anything outside of their own dogma (and financial benefit). To be frank, spiritualism outside of traditional Church establishment threatens the churches ability to collect money.

One might think that the reason they're so threatened is because Reiki may be giving them a run for their money. You know, taking away their captive audience LOL
