  1. Why didn't Kamala just own up to the tweet? If they hate crime was real, she didn't say anything wrong. If she just admitted that she fell for a deception like all the rest of us did, and was shocked that anyone would be capable of lying about something like that, we'd all be more forgiving. But the fact that she tried to pretend that the Tweet never happened shows her dishonest character.
