Compare that the the price of inflation. Now. Go to many of the glasses manufacturers and compare a cost of glasses at $12.99 to the cost of metal frames, inclusive of inflation. Completely ignore that ALL LENSES ARE MADE OF PLASTIC, even ones fitted for metal frames. The glasses I am wearing in my pic were only $6.00, and that includes the RX lenses for 2 astigmatism. They're low priced because the production of plastic lenses make them more affordable. You are so ignorant of how glasses are actually produced, you don't even recognize that most RX frames you would get without the aid of plastics would cost at minimum $80, and that's just the frames themselves.
