  1. I agree. The problem is there's a lot of hoaxes and scam artists out there who fake things. So because of them, people assume EVERYTHING is fake. I've witnessed the impossible, but no one will ever believe me because of stupid schemes like the ghost hunter shows

And sorry, a minor is a minor and attempting to make your impulses sound less offensive by calling it "ephebphilia" just makes you look like you're attempting to gain a more trustworthy image for nefarious means. I do hope you not only do not TOUCH minors, but also do not interact with them by any means. You can live your life. But don't try and pretend you're being victimized by other's suspicions of you when the damage done by 1 of your impulses could ruin many lives.

"If they don't act on it, it's fine!"<--- until they use mental gymnastics to claim what they're doing is not OFFICIALLY acting on it. For example, I met a MAP who worked in a daycare. He CLAIMED he never acted on his impulses, but admitted to having "feelings" for one of the children at his job. Feelings so strong he would touch himself as many as 5 times during his shift. Now you tell me if he's still non offending. Or do we have to wait for the girl to grow up and alcoholic mess that finally tells everyone about the aftercare teacher who hurt her but made her keep it a secret?

  10.  @CounterFlow64  It doesn't matter. Therapy doesn't cure their impulses, and a HUGE part of why these people like kids is because they enjoy manipulating naive minds. Maps enjoy the game of manipulation and deception. They enjoy playing victim and still getting to covertly be the pr3d@tor. It's part of the emotional payoff. They cannot be trusted and must be in a sort of psychological quarantine to ensure they can't offend. Therapy is only going to help their own well being. It's not a guarantee they will not offend

  11.  @CounterFlow64  Yes, if a rational person IS rational about these impulses, they would willingly stay away from minors so as to ensure against harm. It's an easy solution. Stay away from kids. Yet...the MAP I told you about actively seeks out employment that involves his AOA. Why is that do you think? Quarantining away from minors isn't a punishment, it's common sense for safety. It's already been proven there is no cure for this kind of disorder.

You'll be surprised the lengths of deception they are capable of to make people trust them. Look at Todd Nickerson. He's the sort that should never be trusted.

  17. @vegan.chaplin First off a 13 year old is a child, so they couldn't be categorized asap MAP until they stop being a minor themselves. Second, this child should immediately be in professional care and might discover the root of this glitch in their development. At 13 you are not fully developed sexually yourself, so there could be something else going on that can be treated.

  20. Oh yeah, the government will abandon not only missile silos, but entire rockets if the funding gets pulled. Where I live there are entire barracks areas and a rocket (still containing fuel) that are from the 50's and 60's and they not only abandoned them, but they don't even bother to clear them away.

To answer your question as to why ghosts might have to jump through hoops in order to communicate: The same reason why we have to wait a long time to receive information from voyager 1 and 2 at the DSN. Even if you don't believe in this stuff, don't you have even a little bit of imagination to realize that information traveling between time and space is kind of a big effort? Don't you watch science fiction and fantasy?

Your sexuality hasn't even been fully formed at 13. A 13 year old child that is facing confusing feelings like that needs a therapist, not a stupid online community of groomers telling him he's a pedophile so they in turn can victimize him. Don't you realize what grooming is?

But you insisted it to be true and went on to fervently defend the innocence of this "unique" child who discovered sexuality at age 5 and is soooooo innocent of wrongdoing...
