@bob jones Pity the European countries of the EU their future looks pretty bleak to me, controlled by an EU that has it's own best interests at heart, rampant nationalism which could mean the realisation of your worst nightmares and nothing to prevent the looming catastrophe other than a European political class that has betrayed it's people for an unachievable ideological future that is espoused by people who see life only through their rear view mirror. They are remote disconnected and possibly degenerate, I hope I'm wrong.

@henryvagincourt I suppose it illustrates what a remain focused government we have, either that or they have our best interests at heart and democracy really should be taken away from the hands of the people. I prefer to believe the first explanation.

@craig581 When you join the EU your politicians are not your politicians and their politics are not your politics, therefore it is next to impossible to know with any certainty what the motives and end goals of the politicians are until the end game is over. Then we will have a general election, House of Cards indeed.
