@jeanclaudejunior The larger the organisation the greater the fraud especially when funded from public funds, the EU is the largest publicly funded organisation I know of, it's larger than the NHS. Have no doubt the fraud in the EU would drive some to murder if they knew the scale of it unfortunately it can never be fully revealed and is justifiable in some minds.

@sirhumphreyappleby8399 We can see this in Russia today, they are much more efficient at it than most western countries. It has to be overtly state policy while being publicly denounced and life threatening to naysayers to be used to the full limits of capacity.

Conclusion? he's a small man in a huge organisation of people largely accountable to one another by the rules they decide together, this is the tip of a very large iceberg. One mans fraud is anothers receipt of EU funds for local projects.

You really define for me what is wrong with the EU project, whatever the cost whatever the suffering inflicted on the unworthy plebs it is beautiful and will be omnipotent and I will brook no disagreement.

@garyreynolds5733 You sound beyond help, the larger the organisation the more complex it's decision making structures become, when funded by public money with limitless ambitions and no direct democratic mandate for the decisions it takes the more inefficient and corrupt it becomes (USSR and the Roman Empire come to mind). The colonies will eventually revolt when the monies all gone not to long to wait now enjoy your dream while it lasts.

All experts given media exposure said the UK economy would not prosper without having the Euro. All experts predicted the UK would vote remain. A lot of experts used to think the world was flat too. The EU is more like a religion for the faithful than Brexit is to leavers. False equivalency is itself a matter for debate. We have an unshakeable belief in the value of our democratic system and an understanding of the effect the EU project is having on our country. I sling no vitriol, your emotional response to disagreement is typical of most remainers or europhiles I meet and betrays a closed mind. The EU project is failing, seek empathy with the poorest in Europe and find a human perspective.
