  1. How can people be so blind to think that the world and people have really changed over the last thousand years never mind the last century. Scratch beneath the veneer of civilisation and you will know different, once peoples basic needs and expectations are passed over to satisfy the ideals of the elites their behaviour can be easily directed to destruction and revolution. The only way of preventing this for a limited period is by creating a system similar to that of Orwell's described in the novel 1984, I think Romania and the USSR came very close or actually managed to achieve this and maybe North Korea and China. Romania and USSR were overthrown and N.K. and China are changing the EU is attempting to create a system proven to be a failure.

When looking at history with narrow selective vision driven by emotion to satisfy the prejudices and agendas of the current gutless pampered pseudo intellectual no platforming wanna be's unable to debate issues with people of experience with a different view you learn nothing and create chaos if given the opportunity. Hitlers vision of the future was avoided by people of a different attitude prepared to defy the odds and go against the flow of events, you think your vision of the future is unavoidable as did Hitler. The kaliedoscope of ideas and opinions I would say remain static in their make up in regard to politics and human organisation but appear different to people who have not yet seen the full display.

  5. Laurence is happy in the EU empire for now or maybe forever, if it survives he can move to one of the EU colonies, which one makes no difference because their governments have no authority and their people have no say in the running of their countries.

  7. So many contradictions in your emotion driven precise of the UK outside the EU, you talked about an unavoidable future yet based your critique on history that you think will repeat itself. The world is more complex and advanced than you seem to think and is advancing ever faster, the EU empire is founded on ideas that are incompatible with todays globalalised techno driven world. We do need close cooperation and multi lateral agreements with our European neighbours for our mutual benefit, isolationism is as unsuitable as empire for modern economies to thrive. People do not define themselves or base their identity on anything, they are the product of their environment, culture, education and experience. Your opinion that it's a dog eat dog world is accurate enough it's just that the EU is not the answer, by trying to force diverse cultures into homogeneous states you are working against human nature. There is nothing wrong with the ideology it's humanity that is the problem and the sooner this is realised the sooner progress will commence. Democracy is the only system that is acceptable in an advanced society and only works where there is sufficient commonality amongst it's paticipants in my opinion. If I am correct there could be some worrying times ahead for Turkey.

  8. It's not my world, it's not your world. A common misconception of people of faith strangely, or maybe not maybe it's the autocratic totalitarian mindset. The world is the world and people are people, the fundamental things apply as someone once sang. You have to to look to history to learn what works and use this knowledge to evolve and develop not to deceive and bribe people to fit your vision of how the world should be.
