Revoke article 50 now and stop this pantomime, then we can have another referendum now that people have a bit more idea what the vote means. The question must be the same as last time with a few caveats, all ballot papers should include the identity of the voters, if leave wins again all remain voting politicians and elected local councillors should be removed from office after 12 months notice. Remain voting members of the public and former politicians should be encouraged to move to an EU state and banned from commenting publicly on Brexit with financial penalties and incarceration for serial offenders. If remain wins the same conditions should apply to leave voters plus the EU or the UK should provide financial assistance to leave voters who wish to emigrate if such is required for them to meet immigration criteria of the countries they choose to go to. (barring places such as Switzerland or Monaco for obvious reasons) Maybe capping the amount available at a level deemed to be reasonable would solve such problems.

I suppose I should have said losing politicians and councilors should be suspended on half pay for 12 months pending removal or whatever would be decided as appropriate and affordable, but given we are talking about such public spirited people they might decide to forgo any severance pay.

@presidentelectzigenpuss3570 My comment was rather off the cuff, but his comment is a joke probably made to reassure his fading confidence or he's just a troll.

@Steven-mf7no Little Britain the sooner it is just a vague memory the better, yes.

@thackythac Revoke article 50 now and have another vote with peoples identities on the ballot paper if leave win then all people who want to be in the EU should move there, if remain wins leavers should move to a non EU country with financial assistance provided by the EU for making them stateless.

@thackythac I don't think there is a good solution as the situation should never have arisen but there has to be a solution that is better and fairer than any other.

@josefinenilsson8059 The Tory party would have to decide whether to elect a remain leader or a Brexit leader.
