@keepingcalm6469 Why does he get annoyed then? there's a special place in hell etc. Probably because he'll get blamed by Europeans who lose out if there's no deal and by the Eurocrats if he makes a deal, not quite the easiest job in the world.

@chomym If they don't want to have a trade deal with us on the same basis as they have with Canada then we won't have a trade deal irrespective of any short term discomfort. Adversity builds character and sorts out the wheat from the chaff we will benefit in the long run, not everyone obviously that's just reality and cannot be circumvented. Creation always entails destruction, the creation of the EU is destroying what it means to be British, French, Italian and Spanish and probably Germany with little or no long term benefit that is worth the price.
