  1. We are almost a different country to what we were just 50yrs ago, being today a country whose population has no loyalty or recognition of what being British means. How will the future unfold I wonder.

  2. Jim sorry to hear that, it's evolution I suppose. As long as we don't allow society to evolve just to meet the needs of those who would destroy us then we may have a better future. Remember the lessons from history, the Roman Empire, Troy, England in the 16th century and Germany etc all have relevance in finding answers to todays problems.

  4. Willie I have long been in favour of increased defence spending, I consider it to be one of the most necessary and important budgets for a successful country to have. The work done by our defence forces for humanitarian aid alone is probably of more value than half the foreign aid budget.
