Comments by "Roger Bennett" (@rogerbennett9641) on "Barnier: Brussels will not be intimidated by a Brexit blame game" video.
There is a world of countries out there who would love to take advantage of a collapsed Britain which is why your comment is silly.

Trading with nearest neighbours? How much trade does Germany do with China and the US? How do you trade with Italy when you have to pay them buy your goods?

Walter the 40 bn are due just as much as the rent you will be liable to pay us for any infrastructure we have contributed to in the EU. The lawyers will have work for decades, another win for the elites.

There are always lunatic claims on both sides of any negotiation just as in a strong tackle in football, the greater the European influence the more theatrical it seems. Thank god you don't play cricket there would be no such thing as playing with a straight bat.

The reasons I support Brexit are as follows. (1) Britain today is more divided than ever or so everyone seems to say, but is it any more divided than other EU countries such as Italy, Spain, Hungary, Poland or any of them? Is there a common cause? I think so, I think it's the EU. (2) Does anyone who wants to have influence on their life really want to be a tiny invisible speck in a mass of people in the EU empire, powerless as a group or as an individual as will be demonstrated if we do not fully regain our sovereignty. There are obviously many issues that will need addressing but if a country isn't making it's people happy it's failing.

Your Panglossian and think the EU will solve all your problems, until one day your problems aren't considered meaningful or of a minority interest which does not fit their vision of EUtopia and you will be powerless.

Nature abhors a vacuum.

If the EU wishes to increase border controls in Ireland and the people of the republic wish to resort to terrorism who should they attack and for what reason?

Same point different side of the border

I know the troubles have a long history and the only real solution is acceptance of democracy and religion bowing out of decision making, so probably won't happen anytime soon. But for criminal groups using religion and history to commit murder etc would have to be dealt with for what they are.

Yeh it could if people let it, it's a question of priorities.

Cool heads make sound policy, the emotionally driven EU is a threat to stability. Just read the comments from the remainers as they wind themselves up with their faith driven emotional comments.

You say the WTO would stipulate we have a border, would that be for trade and travel? and would the WTO be able to monitor how efficiently that border would be operated.
