  1. The carbon tax is paid by companies that polute, not the energy producers. Ultimately it will be us who pay for it.

  2.  @dominicholder7323  They buy carbon credits but do not fix the issue. That company polluting the stream(Joe's example) is not required to change their ways or fix the stream. We JUST pay more. Which we will do. Carbon taxes are another tool used to strip people of money. Not to improve the enviroment.

  5.  @Tw33tMonsta14  There will always be a sit at home do nothing crowd. That is not reflective of society as a whole. To most that would be intolerable. More to work than just a paycheck. If you didnt have to worry about bills, people will be more likely to choose careers they will enjoy.

  6.  @Tw33tMonsta14  most of those jobs you mentioned are about to go robotic. Nobody should be doing a job a robot can do. When 30% of jobs go out this way we are going to HAVE to find a way to seperate jobs from paychecks. The future is messy.

  7. One i heard was that you could see mount Mount Fuji from Tokyo. That hasnt happened in years due to polution.
